Not really, the necks abit thicker, string spacings the same as a 4 string, if your going to get a 5 string with the low B string get a 35" scale, better tone :).

nope I love the trans blue colour of this bass, i dodn't order it online i got it from a shop. notes sustain long enough to last a couple of bars or so it i need long - Compression. If they made a 6 string version though i'd probably get that in black-violet which is a rather nice colour mix. unfortunatly, they don't

ay man, good stuff. are you like me and wish you had gotten the black version? i got mine online and it was completely different color from what was in the pictures! also, how long do notes sustain on yours? mine, not very long.
